Meowse was a stray cat who happened to be living in an abandoned shrine, when suddenly one day humans began to visit. They would come to the shrine to pray and often offered coins to the small calico, who would always sit near the shrine. After some time, the humans began to asscociate a tap of her paw with good luck and fortune, and they would directly offer the kitty gold coins in exchange for her 'blessing'!These superstitions soon attracted the attention of powerful magic, and the powers-that-be decided to turn Meowse into a true goddess-in-training, complete with all the duties that come with the title! Now, meowse spends her days tending to her shrine, blessing visitors, and sneaking away to find a nice place to nap...
